Donate to HOOP UK

We are delighted to announce that we now have been awarded Charitable Status. The next stage is to be able to be recognised by the Inland Revenue so that we can claim gift aid!

Our main drive for fund raising at the moment is to help pay for places for children at summer camps in the UK thatfundraising will help them become strong, healthy young people.

It is a fact that 95% of obese children go on to become obese adults.

Our aim is to dramatically reduce that figure.

We would love you to help us do that!

There are a variety of ways that you can help us. Why not download our fundraising pack now and have a look for some ideas.

Auction Time with Jessie Pavelka

HOOP UK is delighted to announce that Jessie has donated a two hour training session for us to auction to further the work of HOOP UK.

Many of you will have seen Jessie as presenter of Obese: A Year to Save my Life on Sky 1. Series Two is currently underway and in November Jessie will be back in the UK working and filming with the contributors.

Whilst he is here he has offered to hold a training session with the highest bidder. As a new organisation this is just what HOOP UK needs. We are working towards getting charitable status and this will hugely help us to have the requisite amount to be able to do that.

So, a great big THANK YOU to Jessie. What a complete star!

This is a 7 day ‘semi-silent’ auction and so ends at 9pm on Tuesday 25th September. We will give you an idea of the highest bid each evening and announce the final winner after the bidding closes.

Jessie Pavelka helping HOOP reach their goal

Great News!!

If you have ever watched Sky Television’s Obese: A Year to Save my Life, you will know of the very lovely Jessie Pavelka who motivates and trains the contributors. Hoop amabassador Lee Veasey is friends with Jessie after he took part in the series last year.

We are delighted that Jessie has offered HOOP a two hour training session with him so that we can auction it to help raise the money that we need to apply for Charitable Status in the UK.

We will soon be launching the full details of how you can bid for this fantastic prize, meet Jessie and help HOOP at the same time.

The session will take place when Jessie is here in the UK during November.

Make sure you keep intouch by following us on Twitter and Facebook.

Our Scruff Cat Raises £100 for HOOP UK

We would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to our Scruff Cat, alias Lynne who recently attended a boot fair on our behalf and raised a HUGE £100!

Lynne, we can’t thank you enough. HOOP UK is currently working on raising the minimum amount we need to be able to apply for Charitable Status. So, as you can imagine, this helps so much. Thank you!
